Newcomb College Institute will host a group of undergraduates to attend the 2019 Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing. Eligible undergraduates must indicate an active interest in feminist leadership, seek a job or internship in the technology
industry, and be in their junior or senior year during the Fall of 2019. The NCI funding will cover airfare, double occupancy lodging, and conference registration fees. Students will be responsible for their own meals and transportation during the trip.
Grantees will be required to make an appointment with career services, provide an updated copy of their resume to NCI before the trip, and contribute a poster and essay about their experience to the NCI digital journal Technology and Gender.
