Community Service Fellows & Weatherhead Scholars
About
The Community Service Fellows Program (CSF), established in 2007, is a four-year developmental scholarship that deeply engages incoming freshmen who performed exceptional community service in high school and commit to continued service during their college experience. This program combines practical experience, ongoing training and reflection activities, mentorship and opportunities to collaborate with other student leaders and community agencies to learn about and support sustainable community development.
The Weatherhead Scholars Program selects high-achieving incoming freshmen who demonstrate excellence in academics, community engagement, and leadership. Scholars are expected to uphold these standards while developing a community engagement project over the course of their four-year undergraduate tenure. In return, the Center for Public Service offers resources, mentorship for community connections, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
