Council for Global Health Scholars
About
The Council of Global Health Scholars at Tulane is a post secondary accredited institution that brings together students who are passionate about global health challenges. It’s a space where members can connect with like-minded peers, learn from experts, and take action on issues like health inequities, infectious diseases, and access to care.
The chapter organizes hands-on workshops, guest lectures, and networking events to help students grow academically and professionally. Members can get involved in research projects, community outreach programs, and even international service opportunities, gaining real-world experience and a deeper understanding of global health systems.
Beyond events, the chapter emphasizes mentorship and peer support, helping members develop leadership skills and explore career paths in medicine, public health, or global health policy. Members have the opportunity of raising awareness and working on initiatives that show how global health issues affect communities close to home.
