About
Welcome to the Asian American Student Union (AASU)! AASU's mission is to promote and support the Asian American community on campus by celebrating the diversity of cultures at Tulane and facilitating an open environment for conversations.
Throughout the year, we host various events where students can socialize, experience various Asian cultures, and get involved in the community. While past years have focused primarily on organizing social events, we are now looking to expand by reaching out to the community and providing meaningful experiences for our members in some form. We continuously strive to encompass all Asian and Pacific Island cultures, but this is definitely always a work in progress.
Additionally, our organization is NOT Asian members only. Anyone with an interest in learning about AASU and our community is welcome! We strive to make AASU a welcoming and enriching organization so please feel free to submit any questions or concerns. Hope to see you all at our events!
